The Association of Teachers of Mathematics in Maine (ATOMIM) is inviting high school math teachers to a session focused on the Common Core state standards for mathematics in the classroom through reasoning and sense making.
The session, called “Reasoning and Sense Making in the Classroom,” takes place Feb. 27 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hampden Academy.
The session, part of ATOMIM’s Dine and Discuss series, costs $5. Registration information is available on the ATOMIM website.
