Statement on the passing of Kevin Grover

Education Commissioner Stephen Bowen issued the following statement Sunday regarding the death of Kevin Grover of Falmouth.

“Kevin’s death is an enormous shock and very, very sad for all of us. As Teacher of the Year, Kevin made a tremendous impact on all of education in Maine, working tirelessly and serving as a role model for educators across the state. I express my deepest condolences to all of his families – his wife and children, the D.W. Lunt,  Falmouth Elementary and Falmouth Schools communities, and to educators throughout the state who knew him and worked with him.”
