The Maine Education Data Management System (MEDMS) staff edition is open for staff data collection for the 2013-14 school year. Staff data must be entered or uploaded to the MEDMS staff system by Sept. 30.
Maine school districts now have the option to upload staff data directly from their local data systems to the State data system once those systems have a compatible staff data extract. Learn more about the staff upload format.
Within the staff data, Maine DOE will be requiring work email addresses for many school staff. This is a broadening of the current requirement of work emails for principals and superintendents. Sending emails allows the Department to get information to school staff more quickly while reducing postal costs and facilitating greater collaboration in all program areas.
