Maine DOE adopts rules to establish new test requirements for qualifying examinations of Teachers, Educational Specialists and Administrators

Rule Chapter 13: Qualifying Examinations of Teachers, Educational Specialists and Administrators has been formally adopted by the Department and took effect June 23.

This rule establishes new testing requirements resulting from the revision process employed by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). This rule change includes new test codes, new test titles, new cut off scores and language to allow the former tests (no longer being administered) to be used for up to five years.  After the five years has expired, only the new tests will be accepted.
