At the request of superintendents looking to plan for future years, the Department of Education has prepared a spreadsheet showing estimated preliminary subsidy amounts for school districts for 2012-13.
There are many variables the Department cannot predict for next year, so these estimates have been prepared using certain assumptions. Those assumptions are outlined at the link below.
In particular, the Department does not know what enrollment figures will be for FY 2013. The Department also doesn’t know what the state revenue climate will be or what amount the Governor and Legislature will choose to allocate for General Purpose Aid to Local Schools.
