In coordination with the Department of Education, MaineCare Services has developed a listserve specific to MaineCare-covered services that are provided in an educational setting. The listserve will provide information on policy and billing changes that will impact school-based services providers. Please sign up on the listserve page of the MaineCare Services website.
MaineCare Services has also created a single email box (MaineCareInEducation@maine.gov) where providers can submit questions for MaineCare provider relations specialists regarding billing and policy. Providers should still contact Molina customer services at 1-866-690-5585 with questions regarding enrollment and MIHMS-related issues.
MaineCare is also offering billing-related training to school-based services providers. If you are interested in having a 1:1 training session regarding billing, please email MaineCareInEducation@maine.gov. In the email, please write “Training” as the subject and provide the relevant contact information, school district and number of participants.
