New rule adoption

The Office of Special Services is responsible for the state’s oversight and support for the delivery of all special education services provided in Maine under the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). A new rule adoption, Chapter 101: Maine Unified Special Education Regulation Birth to Age 20, goes into effect on July 19.

  1. Buckley, this dispatch refers to rule adoption of Chapter 101: Birth to Age 20. Nothing has changed in the age span under Title 20-A Sect 5201. We have since edited the notice to make it more clear.
