Maine students are invited to apply for the 2015 Horatio Alger Association Scholarship Program, one of the nation’s largest privately-funded college scholarship programs in the country specifically designed to assist high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives.
In Maine, five students will be awarded a $7,000 scholarship and one student will receive the National Scholarship which is awarded at $22,000 and includes attending the National Scholars Conference held in Washington, DC.
The application deadline is Oct. 25 and students may apply at www.horatioalger.org/scholarships.
