The Maine Indoor Air Quality Council is hosting a free, one-day Healthy Indoor Air for Schools Conference on March 12 as part of the Council’s two-day Maine Indoor Air Quality Conference. Approval of FY 2013 School Revolving Renovation Fund applications

The Department’s review of FY 2013 School Revolving Renovation Fund (SRRF) applications has been completed. The project ratings and approved funding amounts for the applications received have been posted on the Department’s website and can be viewed at www.maine.gov/education/const/rrf/home.htm.

Charter School Commission approves Academy of Natural Sciences

The following is a news release from the Maine Charter School Commission.

AUGUSTA – The Maine Charter School Commission voted Friday to approve the application from the Maine Academy of Natural Sciences to move to the contract phase that will result in becoming the first public charter school in Maine’s history.
