You are invited to attend the 2013 Comprehensive School Health Education Spring Conference, Plugging Health Education into the Digital World, May 14, from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Thomas College in Waterville.
This year the Maine DOE School Health Education and MLTI programs are partnering to offer a variety of sessions and experiences connecting technology, classroom instruction, and student learning. We are pleased to have Debra Christopher, a national leader in health education research and teaching strategies speak on adolescent brain development and the digital world.
Participants will engage in the learning process as they explore new tools, resources and effective health education teaching strategies. Join us for a day, designed to enhance and promote the connections between the digital world and quality PreK to high school health education.
The draft agenda will be posted in the next few days on the Maine Coordinated School Health Program website. Register online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2013CSHEConference by May 6th.
