Department reschedules NEO facilities training sessions

A NEO facilities training has been rescheduled to Feb. 12 due a snowstorm this week.

The Department is encouraging all facilities directors to attend session II of the NEO facilities training to learn how to enter data, submit a report and track district submittals in the new NEO data management system.  This second session will focus on details that include format, definitions and data entry protocol.

This free training will be held both online as well as in-person in Room 500 of the Cross Building at 111 Sewall Street in Augusta. Registration is required and can be completed here. The training was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28 but because many schools were closed that day due to weather, was postponed to 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12.

A third session of the NEO facilities training that will focus on unique data situations will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.  also in Room 500 of the Cross Building at 111 Sewall Street in Augusta.  Registration for this in-person only training is also required and can be completed here.

For additional information about the trainings, please contact Maine DOE’s Pat Hinckley at pat.hinckley@maine.gov or 624-6886. For technical assistance logging into NEO, contact the MEDMS helpdesk at medms.helpdesk@maine.gov or 624-6896.
