Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports webinar

In an effort to increase implementation of positive behavior supports in Maine schools, the Maine Department of Education in collaboration with the University of Maine, will be offering a webinar, “Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS)” on March 7 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

This webinar will provide an overview of the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework including an outline of the essential elements for implementation, information on the academic and behavioral benefits of this approach, and an opportunity to learn about assistance available for schools and districts interested in starting or improving PBIS.

PBIS is designed for school and/or district-wide implementation. Accordingly, superintendents, principals, special education administrators and those who have an interest in developing PBIS programs at the school and district levels are invited to participate.
