The Commission to Strengthen the Adequacy and Equity of Certain Cost Components of the School Funding Formula, often referred to as the EPS Commission, has released its final report.
The Legislature’s Education Committee, which initially established the Commission, will now review the report to decide if and how they wish to move forward on the recommendations made by the Commission, including those relating to funding of public preschool programs, support for economically disadvantaged students and regional cost adjustments for teacher salaries.
