Three Maine CTEs to offer plumbing programs

Career and Technical Education (CTE) centers in Farmington, Norway and Lewiston will begin offering new plumbing programs to students as a result of restitution funds from a settlement reached with the Maine Attorney General’s Office.

Foster Technology Center in Farmington, Oxford Hills Technical School in Norway and Lewiston Regional Technical Center in Lewiston will receive $60,000 per school year for two years provided that they meet the requirements of the Maine DOE approval process and other respective state authorities. Programs must be established according to state standards, must use Maine licensed master plumbers as instructors, and must have students enrolled.
