Special education administrators, special education high school teachers, transition coordinators and specialists, vocational rehabilitation case managers, and parents of children/students with disabilities are invited to attend a daylong conference on postsecondary transition planning.
The conference will feature a keynote speaker and host breakout sessions on guardianship, transition planning, self-determination, vocational planning, housing, collaborative partnering for student transition planning, and mental health transition planning.
The conference will take place at three different locations and dates:
- April 6 at the University of Maine, Presque Isle
- April 12 at the Hutchinson Center, Belfast
- April 27 at the Italian Heritage Center, Portland
