It is called, “an awesome opportunity for a student;” the Tyler Technologies’ 2016 Maine App Challenge. This is a contest for Maine high school students to design, develop and demonstrate Android mobile apps. The apps need to be helpful to the students’ communities and schools.
Last year’s winning student from Telstar High School in Bethel won $6,000 in scholarship money. The second place winner received $3,000 and third place received $1,000. Tyler Technologies is accepting submissions now. The challenge will close May 4.
