To ensure data quality Maine DOE has ended all open placement notifications (EF-S-01 forms) in the NEO data system as of June 30, 2016 and will continue to end notifications annually.
The EF-S-01 form is entered by a resident school administrative unit to inform the Department when a student is placed at a special purpose private school or a regional program. The student’s enrollment status must be linked with an enrollment in the State edition of Infinite Campus.
The resident SAU will need to re-enter current special education placements into the EF-S-01 form in NEO for the 2016-17 school year. Please note the Update of Maine Schools form is required to be completed prior to creating a placement notification.
