The Chinese Language and Culture Center of Maine and the Bangor Chinese School are inviting school administrators, school board members, teachers, students, parents and others to attend the 2011 Maine Chinese Conference on Oct. 28 and 29 at Husson University in Bangor.
The conference will feature a variety of sessions about U.S.-Chinese relations, Maine-Chinese relations and Chinese language instruction, along with a keynote address by former independent gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler called “How Maine and China May Come Together.”

The registration cost for both days of the conference is $150 for those who register before Oct. 15. For those attending one day, the cost is $125.
Conference events will take place at Husson’s Dyke Center for Family Business.
