Summer institute focuses on customized, engaged learning

This summer’s Maine Middle Level Institute will bring together middle-school educators and others from across the state to focus on customizing learning for each student and implementing the rigorous Common Core State Standards in their classrooms.

The Middle Level Institute takes place July 30 through Aug. 2 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. This year’s theme is “Powerful Learning: A Strong Foundation for Customizing Instruction.”

The price for attending is $325 for commuters and $425 for participants staying overnight on campus. Graduate credit is available for an additional fee.
