Rule changes proposed for the Maine Department of Education, Rule Chapter 101, Maine Unified Special Education Regulation Birth to Age Twenty, have been finally adopted.
The Department of Education proposed two separate rule changes to Chapter 101: one to reflect state statutory changes, the other to come into compliance with changes to federal Part C (birth-to-2) regulations for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
