The University of Southern Maine will host an information session for a new doctoral program focused on educational leadership and policy on Tuesday, June 19.
Faculty and staff will provide an overview of the degree and the admissions process. The program is accepting applications through Friday, July 6.
Designed for working professionals with experience and interest in educational leadership, the doctor of philosophy in public policy, with a concentration in educational leadership and policy, encompasses a variety of topics that include contemporary issues in educational leadership and policy, economics and public policy, and leadership in a globalized world. The program uses a cohort model in which students progress through the program together over a three-year period.
The session will take place June 19, at 6 p.m., in Room 133 of the Wishcamper Center, Bedford Street, Portland.
