The Maine Education Data Management System’s staff edition is open for staff data collection for the 2012-13 school year.
Maine school districts now have the option to upload staff data directly from their local data systems to the state data system once those systems have a compatible staff data extract. Information about the staff upload format can be found at http://www.maine.gov/education/medms/Staff/StaffUploadFormat.htm.
The Department will be requiring work or business email addresses for all school staff who are added or updated as of October 1, 2012. This is a broadening of the current requirement of work/business emails for principals and superintendents.
