The final public review period for the Next Generation Science Standards will begin on Jan. 8 at 3 p.m. and end at the close of business on Jan. 29. The document will be available at: http://www.nextgenscience.org.
We encourage all Maine educators, business people and other stakeholders, in reviewing the draft.
Maine is one of 26 states taking the lead in developing a new set of academic standards that will define the science concepts and content students will need to learn to be successful in the workforce, economy and society of the coming decades.
