Online homework help offered to grade 5-12 students

The Maine DOE is partnering with the Study Buddy Online Homework Help program to provide free online math and science homework assistance to Maine students. Schools can opt to participate in this program that connects fifth through 12th grade students with volunteer high school honor students for homework help.

Students from participating schools can receive homework support from 3:30 p.m. until midnight, seven days a week, from September through June. Students seeking help work collaboratively with live and online honor students using a digital notebook containing whiteboard technology, writing/texting tools and instructional videos.

Tutoring is available in basic math 5-8, pre-algebra, algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus AB & BC, statistics, chemistry, physics, and SAT and Advanced Placement Test Prep.

Study Buddy will be contacting each Maine school individually to provide school login information over the course of the next week. For more information, contact Julie Cox of Study Buddy Help at jcox@studybuddyhelp.org.
