Educators encouraged to save the date for 2015 MLTI Summer Institute

The Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI) is encouraging educators to save the date for its 2015 Summer Institute, scheduled July 21-23 at Bowdoin College in Brunswick.

The annual professional development opportunity will be headlined by keynote speakers Chris Lehman of Philadelphia’s Science Leadership Academy and Erin Knight from Cities of Learning and Badge Alliance. At the event, educators will share ideas in learning through technology and have the time to examine and try out new ideas in depth with the support of exports. Among the topics of focus will be iPad workflows, online and blended learning, building digital content, programming with Swift, and leadership for technology.

Registration options for the three-day institute include a residential rate of $255 which includes lodging, meals and registration or  $150 for a commute rate that includes lunch, dinner and registration. One principal or assistant principal attends free with the registration of two or more educators from their school.
