Rule changes proposed for the State Board of Education, Rule Chapter 114, Purpose, Standards, and Procedures for the Review and Approval of Preparation Programs for Education Personnel, have been finally adopted.
With the start of a new school year, districts are busy collecting school meal benefit information. There are three methods through which students may be approved for school meal benefits.
The Maine Department of Education is requesting that all school administrative units complete remaining EdJobs fund (original-I or supplemental-II) American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) data module reporting for reimbursement by Oct. 15, 2012.
