The Maine Migrant Education Program Survey has been updated for the 2011-12 school year, and the Department of Education is requesting that school units distribute it to all newly enrolled students.
The updated version of the survey is available at the following link: http://www.maine.gov/education/nclb/tic/MigrantEducationProgramForms.htm.
Please collect all surveys distributed. Submit only those that have been marked “Yes” in all three sections by mail to the Maine Migrant Education Program at the following address:
Maine Department of Education
23 State House Station
Augusta, ME 04333
Attn. Title IC Migrant Education Program
If a school or school unit has already distributed, collected and/or submitted another version of the Migrant Education Survey for the 2011-12 year, the unit doesn’t have to redistribute the updated survey.

The migrant education program has proven to become a valuable resource for my family.Throughout my involvement with this organization it was beneficial to my family and was a pleasure to interact with their representative. Now I am at the point of applying for assistance to further my education by taking college accreditave programs at the UME (University of Maine Hutchinsen Center )in Belfast so I might be able to get credit to pursue a teaching degree and substitute teach in the future.I am thankful for their most valued assistance.
