The Regional Educational Laboratory – Northeast and Islands, to which Maine belongs, will host a webinar on Oct. 6 focused on the implementation of the Common Core state standards for math.
The session — which takes place from 3 to 4:30 p.m. — will address the foundational research and initiatives underlying the Common Core math standards. Dr. Francis “Skip” Fennell, a mathematics education expert and member of the National Mathematics Advisory Panel, will lead the webinar.
