Preliminary State subsidy printouts (ED 279) for school administrative units are now available on the Maine DOE website. The subsidy amounts for FY 2013-14 are only preliminary and do not represent final action of the 126th Maine Legislature and should therefore only be used as “initial” guidance for your budget preparations. Some calculations included in these amounts are dependent upon enactment of statutory changes. Key changes were identified in a February 22 dispatch in the Maine DOE Newsroom. The appearance of the FY 2013-14 ED279 State subsidy printouts has changed, as it is from the new computer system. The ED279s from the new computer system will include more updated data and more accurate calculations.
