The STEM council will be meeting on June 13 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the office of the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance at 219 Capitol Street, Suite #3, Augusta, ME 04332.
The council is charged with developing strategies for enhancing science, technology, engineering and mathematics education from PreK through post-secondary education. Council members also review research on STEM education, recommend strategic directions for policymakers, devise methods for promoting career and technical education and propose ways to integrate school-based and out-of-school STEM programs.
