Maine DOE to host webinars on ESEA requirements in May

The Maine DOE is offering two webinars next month to provide guidance on current Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)/No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements.

The first webinar will be offered on Thursday, May 8 at 2 p.m. and focus on Consolidated Performance Reports for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 and the FY15 (2014-2015) ESEA/NCLB Consolidated Application processes. The NCLB team will provide updates for each Title program, outline the application and performance report changes, address reimbursement concerns and overview the FY15 monitoring process. The second webinar will be offered on Wednesday, May 14 at 2 p.m. and focus on
new Title IA homeless allowances and McKinney-Vento coordination. Maine DOE Title IA and McKinney-Vento staff will present information on new allowances related to the use of Title IA funds and coordination with McKinney-Vento Liaisons.
