The Maine Department of Education’s Office of Special Services will be hosting a training webinar to assist Local Education Agencies in new and important procedural and timeline changes regarding the 2016-2017 IDEA Local Entitlement electronic application process.
There will be a choice of two webinar sessions: Tuesday, April 12, 9-10:30 a.m. and Thursday, April 14, 1-2:30 p.m.
The training will cover Maintenance of Effort, Excess Cost and new submission dates. Please share these webinar dates with business managers and financial personnel. The webinar is expected to last approximately 1.5 hours and can be accessed at the following links:

Annual Local Entitlement applications will be due June 15, 2016.
