The Maine Department of Education, in partnership with the Maine Council for the Social Studies, will hold the inaugural Social Studies Summer Symposium on June 29 at Maranacook High School from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Teachers and administrators of all grade levels are encouraged to attend. The $25 registration fee includes lunch. Seven contact hours will be awarded. Social Studies Teacher-Leaders and others will be offering sessions on a variety of topics.
Registration will remain open through June 10; register soon as space is limited.
